About Koftgari Calligraphy Artwork :

Koftgari work is an overlay art which is done by pressing gold/silver wire by special tool on crosshatching and then its heated and pressed by a polish hakik stone ( a normal stone can’t be used).  No two are exactly the same.  All the silver detailing is actual Pure silver work not an Imitation.  The Damascus blade was forged by a black smith using alternating bars of Carbon steel and iron with different degrees of hardness then forge welded together. There is a four leaf silver design in the center of the blade on one side of some models (please check pics).  The blade comes unsharpened and is housed in a velvet lined elaborately detailed scabbard with silver work just like the handle.
